Flu

You've probably heard if you read my families other blogs, but we just went through the flu. I'm just now felling up to posting again. I thought you might like this picture. I would like some MIRACLE ELIxIR right now. ;)

We're all almost better, but we all are still coughing alot. We all promised we would get the flu shot from now on. The flu is awful!

I'm glad y'all are getting better! Cool bottle. I'm not sure I would like to drink purple medicine though. :-)

In reply to your comment on my blog:
I'm glad someone got it!
Basically it was trying to say that installing programs in Linux is very simple. When most people think of Linux they think of compiling the source code for programs to install them. In reality it's even easier than Windows.
btw, I'm going to make you that video tutorial soon! (hopefully)

Hello,

I have a quickquestion about how you are making glass in Blender.

Are you using the Ray Mirror to make your models look like glass?

Also, for your rendering you might want to look into Yafray, it is a pretty nice piece of rendering software.

Thanks,
Joshua

Yes, I use Ray Mirror to make glass.

I haven't got Yafray installed on our computer, but I hope to soon! I hear it's good for realistic lighting.

That what I thought, the Ray Mirror feature seems like what you would use for glass.

Do you know where I can find a tutorial on this subject? I can't find one of Blender.org.

Thanks,
Joshua
