Hi! Welcome to my blog. My name Is Joshua and I am a born again Christian †. I believe that Jesus Christ died to pay the penalty for our sins, and if we believe on Him we will have eternal life. (Acts 16:31 ) We are a homeschooling family and I am the 3rd of 9 children (and with one in heaven). We live in central Oklahoma.
This blog is made primarily for the purpose of showing what I have made in Blender, a free and open source software capable of modeling, animating, composting, and much more. (www.blender.org)
I started using Blender when I was 13 because I wanted to make 3D movies. I was very intimidated when I began to learn Blenders basics. I felt this might be one of those hobbies that I would give up sooner or later. Today I am very glad I didn't quit. While I haven't made any movies, I enjoy making pictures that other people can use, and ones that force my skills to increase.
Alongside Blender, I enjoy other things, like reading. I love classic authors like Henty, Ballantyne, and Verne, as well as theology books by pastors like RC Sproul, and John MacArthur. I also enjoy chess. My rating is around 1400, though it tends to drop to 1200 on occasion! I also like to play the piano, and attempt to compose my own hymn arrangements.
